The City of Hollywood, Florida will be conducting a virtual Technical Advisory Committee meeting at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. Because of the risk to public health, the City is conducting the meeting virtually so that members of the public can view and participate in the meeting.

The Marine Advisory Board's purpose is to develop ways to increase revenue from the marine industry sector in Hollywood; develop strategies to encourage students and residents to pursue careers in the marine industry; increase marine activities and opportunities for Hollywood's residents and tourists; and to provide recommendations to the Commission based on specific findings and research.

The Hollywood Beach Half Marathons and 5ks are popular stops on the Elite Events South Florida Half Marathon Tour. The only differences in the events are the Fall race is called the Hollywood Beach Oceanside and the Winter Race is called the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk Half. The beautiful predawn and sunrise start and run along the Broadwalk are a huge draw for people from all over the U.S.. The events take athletes through the eclectic and beautiful area and many stay in local hotels for the weekend. Note: This event is not organized by the City of Hollywood

Join us as we celebrate you and what makes you proud of living, working and/or playing in Hollywood, Florida. The My Hollywood Pride one-day street fair is taking place on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the 1900 block of Hollywood Boulevard in downtown Hollywood. Fun activities for all ages as local businesses coming out in support of diversity, equity and inclusion. Live musical entertainment, LGBTQ+ films, open discussions, cultural exhibits, educational displays and more. In the evening, local performers will entertain as you mix and mingle and enjoy a fun, festive atmosphere. Later, the event moves indoors and the party continues as we celebrate what makes Hollywood unique, and a place for everyone! My Hollywood Pride is hosted by the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council, admission is free.
