The City of Hollywood’s Memorial Day observance, Salute to the Fallen will honor loved ones and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The date for the next Salute to the Fallen is TBA.

Residents are encouraged to join the tribute to all fallen heroes at the Boulevard Heights Community Center. Attendees will be provided LED candles upon arrival. The event will showcase a musical performance by the Hollywood Hills High School Jazz Band on the outdoor amphitheater stage and inter-faith prayers during a solemn candlelight vigil. Concessions provided by the Hollywood Hills High School Entrepreneur and Leadership Military Academy will be available for purchase.

To pay tribute to a fallen hero on the Hero Display; please pre-register by submitting the hero’s name, service with Police, Fire, First Responders or branch of Military service, year of birth and year of passing via email to events@hollywoodfl.org. 

The Boulevard Heights Community Center Amphitheater is located at 6770 Garfield Street.
