Annual Operating Budget
Hollywood's Annual Operating Budget contains information on the City's organizational structure, demographics, revenue sources, property tax rates and assessed values, agency grant allocations and budgeted expenses by each City Department. The annual budget covers the City's fiscal year (Oct. 1-Sept. 30).
The "In Brief" links provide highlights of the corresponding fiscal year's adopted budget including tables showing budgeted revenues and expenditures for each fund. The City's Budget Division ceased creating "In Brief" documentation after 2013.

Notification of Emerald Hills Security Enhancement District Ballot
The City Commission held a workshop at City Hall on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 to discuss the ballot language for the creation of a Emerald Hills Safety District. The ballots were mailed out by the City Clerk’s office on Monday, July 17, 2017 to each affected property owner. Ballot were required to be returned to the City Clerk’s office by 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Late ballots were not counted in the final tally. Below are the ballot results:

City of Hollywood City Commission will hold the 2nd reading of the ordinance on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Room 219.
The Emerald Hills Safety Enhancement DistrictThe proposed District would be a dependent special district within the meaning of Chapter 189, Florida Statutes. The District would have the ability to impose a $250 non-ad valorem assessment per property within the District, per year, for the purpose of providing an off-duty City of Hollywood Police detail Monday-Friday.
